Faliraki is renowned for the largest sandy beach on the island of Rhodes and the largest organized beach of it's kind in Greece. The beach in fact, stretches some 4 km featuring more than 4000 deck chairs and a variety of water sports. Faliraki features five other bays that satisfy even the most demanding visitor. The bay of Kathara that combines a sandy shore and step rocks, is probably the most picturesque on the island and the area is also known for the nudist beach located next to kathara bay. The bay of Anthony Quinn Boasts unique natural beauty and become famous in such movies as "the Guns of Navarone" and "Escape to Athena". Other beaches include the bay of Kallithea, the beach of Ladiko ,with seals cave and the ancient forttress of Erimokastro and the pebble beach of Traganou.

All These Beaches have been awarded the European Union's Blue Flag Environmental award for their clean shores and crystal clear Blue Waters.

From  airport  you  take  a  taxi to  faliraki,  Agisandrou street, next to  elarin. 
The  cost  is  approximately  28  Euro.
From  port you  take  a  taxi to  faliraki,  Agisandrou street, next to  sun palace hotel,  you  turn  right.  The  cost  is  approximately  26  Euro or  you  take  the  bus to Faliraki,  and  you  get off at  the  sun palace hotel  bus  stop, after towards  center,  you   turn  right,  white palace  studios  is on  the  left.

The city of Rhodos is just 13km a way (20 min with public bus or 10 min with a taxi) where you can visit it's unique medieval city, (old town) the largest lived -in medieval city in Europe, characterized by UNESCO As a monument of word cultural heritage.
